Danielle Porter is a resident of Greensboro, NC. She grew up in the small town of Kernersville, where she enjoyed exposure to the arts from a very young age. From competitive dance to playing the viola, she found her biggest passion in theatre when she joined her high school’s production of Annie Get Your Gun as costume chief. In 2018, she earned her BA in theatre education from Appalachian State University. Now in her fifth year of teaching theatre arts, her favorite theatre memories include performing in the 2016 cast of Horn in the West, mentoring students at various art camps in Forsyth County, and creating art with her colleagues and students, some of whom were her former teachers. She is forever grateful for her friends, family, students, and mentors who consistently support her in all of her directing endeavors. Go Knights!
